The excitement that comes with visiting Africa for a safari is like no other, lots of time is required to plan the trip. Your best bet is landing a ground handler who will walk you through the trip details, and explain to you what you need to know, what you need to carry, and most... Continue Reading →
NEW GORILLA FAMILIES OPEN TO VISITORS IN UGANDA.
The year 2018 has been a good one for Uganda’s Tourism and perhaps the best it has seen when it comes to the Gorilla business. There are only 3 countries in the globe that offer Mountain Gorilla Tours: Uganda, Rwanda and Congo, all operating from the same region, the Gorilla highlands region. This beautiful region covers areas of the mountainous forests of eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, northwest... Continue Reading →
Kanye West & Kim Kardashian holiday in Uganda’s Luxury resort, Murchison Falls Park. UGANDA
Amidst the controversies surrounding Kanye West's visit to the oval office, that was received with backlash from the black community in the United States, Uganda, a small country in East Africa, with open arms welcomed Kanye West and his family for a week’s long holiday. If it’s not because everyone needs to get away from... Continue Reading →
Kalema The Mysterious Chimp & Ken The Delirious Scrimp
I couldn’t help thinking about Kalema, which actually translates as ‘disabled’. I still think about her even up to now. I know this is silly, but can I adopt her?
Climbing to the coolest place on earth. The world’s largest lava lake. Mt. Nyiragongo, DRC.
Seeing it in real life is a truly rewarding experience, and realizing that all the pictures I had seen before didn’t quite capture that “thing” about it. If it weren’t for the biting cold, I would have slept outside by the lake.
A day in Walumbe’s Tanda Pits, home to the god of death.
Oddly enough, thoughts about the Tanda pits still make me quiver up to now. Insensibly, there’s that sinister feeling that grows stronger and stronger, each time I flip through my camera roll -- the feeling that some inexplicably powerful black magic hostilely hovers by. The journey I undertook, gingerly walking about the compound allegedly inhabited by the god of death himself – that, my dear, is what I hadn't the faintest idea what I’d signed up for.
It is ‘Boot Camp’ time again at #GorillaHighlands from 18th to 22nd November

GORILLA HIGHLANDS PLANS FOR ANOTHER ‘BOOT CAMP‘
(Posted 08th October 2017)
Spacey from Marasa is already looking for suitable means of transport. She needs to reach Lake Bunyonyi in about a month, to join a cool group of tourism, marketing and multimedia pros at the Gorilla Highlands Bootcamp from 18 to 22 November 2017.
‘Strength doesn’t come from what you can do, it comes from overcoming the things you thought you couldn’t do‘ says Spacey. She knows she is being sent to Bunyonyi to change and grow.
‘The fact is I want to try out activities that will help me cleanse my soul and achieve an ever firmer booty, so I am perfect for the GH Bootcamp‘ she admits privately.
Will you decide to join this group too?
After all this year no one should say, I didn’t know?!

The Intimidating walk on the Nyungwe canopy bridge: Not a train-smash.
The Nyungwe forest canopy walk stems out as the first tree-top forest canopy walk in East Africa. The activity is exhilarating and a must-do for guests visiting Rwanda; The shaky walkway serves to send your Adrenalin on a marathon, and for some people, if not all, the walk is intimidating. However, the memories you carry back home can be all you ever needed.
The Pearl in the Park wrapped up in 4 Days! Mweya Safari Lodge.
Believe it or not, there’s more to Queen Elizabeth National Park than the abundant wildlife. In fact, there’s good reason to visit the lodges within as a destination in itself. In the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park, about 420Km from Kampala, in the southwestern part of Uganda lies an iconic landmark, still standing since... Continue Reading →
